From proud kin Amy Cammann Cholnoky:
"Just thought I might have a story for you. I am the mother AND daughter of coxswains . . . our son, J.B. age 16, is the varsity cox for Choate. My dad, George Cammann age 75, is a cox for the Norwalk River Rowing Club in a four called the Ancient and Honorable. Both are coxing in the Head of the Charles for the first time on Sunday. My father is so excited about Sunday, he can hardly stand it. He's been studying videos of the race all week, and has told me that Eliot Bridge is the most popular viewing site, due to having the most crashes! JB is also excited, but relatively nonchalant -- there's the difference between a 75-year old coxswain and a 16-year old coxswain!
Cross your fingers for no crashes in the family! "
